Resource leveling - strange behaviour

Hi,

sometimes when I use the resource leveling, splitted tasks are moved without
any logic. I've tested this with Project Pro 2003 SP1 and SP2. Still the
same effects. Any thoughts?

Pete --

It sounds like you might be leveling a resource who is overallocated across
two or more projects. You might try the following approach to level the
resource only within the current open project:

1. Launch Microsoft Project Professional
2. In the Project Server Accounts dialog, deselect the "Load summary
resource assignments" option
3. Click the Connect button
4. Open the project with overallocated resources
5. Click View - Resource Usage
6. Select the first overallocated resource and level this resource
