Resource Leveling

Hi,

I have Project Server 2003.
I have a question about resources:

For example, I have 3 projects with 1 resource.
I want to assign him to Gantt 1 20%, Gantt 2 20%, and Gantt 3 60%.
At Gantt 1 he has 3 tasks without link between them. the same at the other
gantts, all of them are at the same time.
Now I want to level the resource. How do I make sure that tasks will
schedule for Gantt 1 at max. 20% units and
not parallelly ?

Hello Perl,

In each plan, assign your resource to each elementary task as you want :
20%, 60% (the easiest way is to use the Assign Resource dialog for that)
Then make sure your 3 plans are open, and run the leveling feature:
Tools / Level resources / Level Now

NB : set Leveling order : Priority; Standard, if you want to set different
priorities to your tasks or projects

Thanks you, but......

How do I make sure the leveling will not schedule all 3 tasks with 20%
together.
I don't want to set a differnet priority for each task.

Any other idea ?

Perl,
That's the first aim of leveling feature to do that.
You can check the result in the Leveling Gantt and in the Resource Usage
view of Project.
