resource leveling

Jason

there was a notification next to my resource indicating i need to level.
After applying "level now", the notification disappeared, but the resource is
still red. is this normal?

Thank you

Maybe. A resource is overloaded if they are assigned work of at least 1
minute more than their availability.

Try using leveling and remove the option to level only within available
slack. It will push your dates, but should correct the issue

This is often due to the levelling granularity. When you levelled, you
elected to do it on a week-by-week basis or month-by-month basis or one
of the other options.

That essentially means that you only care that the amount of work within
a week or month is feasible but that you aren't going to worry too much
about managing on a smaller time period.

If you really care about it, try levelling at a finer granularity. For
most projects you won't need to go below day-by-day levelling. The
question for you really is what is the smallest period you actually care
about resource activity.
