Resource Manager Question, need answer quick PLEASE!!!

I am putting together a plan to implement the EPM solution and need to know
if it is possible for the Resource Managers to assign new tasks from the
Project Web Access. And for a team of about 15 people, is it necessary to
have more than 1 Microsoft Project Professional 2003 in order to organize all
the people in our department. I was under the impression that it can be
done, but I am also under the impression that it can spell disaster. Only
one person is allowed to see expenses, and this can be a security issue if
more than one person sees costs in our department. I know you can set
permissions with Project Web Access, but how should we do this? 1 or more
than 1 Microsoft Project Professional 2003? Thanks!

In Project Web Access, Resource Managers can build the team for a project
but they cannot assign the resources to tasks. Therefore, if you need for
Resource Managers to be able to assign resources to tasks in a project, then
you will need to purchase a copy of Microsoft Project Professional for each
of them. Obviously, each of your Project Managers will need their own
copies of Microsoft Project Professional as well. Team Members and
Executives will not need the software, however, since they will use Project
Web Access for their project needs. Hope this helps.
