Resource manager responsibilities

How can I make a resource manager responsible for at group of people?
I´d like the RM to handle all requests for allocating resourcer to
different projects througout the organization, but only for peolple
with in his og hers group
I have a PM who is responsible for creating the project and allocation
only generic resourder. The Sub PM requests resources at a later time
and then is is the responsibility of the RM to allocate the resoucers.

To do this you need to have the Category that the RM belongs to give
them rights to resources they manage. Then make sure that the RM is
'above' those resources in teh RBS heirarchy.

The RM category will also need to give them Open and Save permissions
to ALL Current and future projects.

True. I was reading more into the post than what was really there. For
the RM to be able to assign resources to specific tasks they would need
the permissions I talked about. For them to just add resources to the
project they would only need the Build Team permission so they could
use the PWA based build team functionality.
