Resource name change trouble (Outlook2k3)

We recently changed the names of 4 conference rooms, which have their
corresponding mailboxes in Outlook for scheduling purposes. Recurring
meetings/appointments already exsist in one of the rooms, but show up
in the attendees' calendars under the old name, not the new names.

Example:

Conference room A is a scheduled resource in a recurring meeting with
A, B, and C as attendees. We changed the name of conference room A to
Conference room 1, but in the calendars of A, B, and C, it still shows
up as Conference room A.

Is this fixable?
