Resource Name Change

We have a resource who recently got married and is changing her name. Can I
just change her name in the resource pool and everything will great or do I
need to create a new user and manually enter her as a new resource in my
schedules to match the resource pool? We use Project/Server 2003. Thanks
for the assistance.

If you're talking about a Windows authenticated account, and you're not
changing the logon account, then yes, you can simply change the name.

I have always just changed the name in the Global Resource pool. It won't
take effect though until all projects she is on are opened/saved and
re-published. Also, I think that tasks already completed remain as the old
name.
