resource outline code values

How does one read the values in a resource outline code
using vba.

eg I have a Resource outilecode field in my project (2002)
I am wanting to read the values by level and place them
into a string

Plant - Dozer, Digger
Personnel -Linemen, Engineers
Tansport - Trucks, Cars, Buses

does anyone know how to do this
