Hi,
I have some issue with my resources.
I create a schedule, tasks, assign resources and publish it.
I have one task A with 4hours duration. If my resource report 4h of
work, all goes fine.
If my resource report more than 4h, 6h for example, he got
overallocated and duration keeps the same.
Project Professional updates the schedule and change the resource
units to 200%
and my resource got overallocated.
And resource hasn´t any other work scheduled in the same timeframe.
So the problem is:
I used fixed units and the resource units changed, but not the
duration. I think duration should go to 6h, shouldn't it?
I tried this in Project 2003 and 2007, and got the same problem.
Thanks a lot.
PS: I post this problem on Project Professional group and they said me
that I should post it here because it is not a stande alone case, and
I am using PWA to report the work hours.
