Resource overallocations

I have a resource (outsourced) that has a number of tasks
to perform. Each of which can begin on a start to start
basis. One task does not rely upon any other for
sequencing. I do not have the specific durations for each
task, but I do know that the resource has indicated that
all tasks will be completed by a specific date.

Project sees this resource as overallocated and in the
calandar view prints many of the tasks associated with
this resource as "overflow" tasks when this really is not
the case.

Any ideas on a way around this?

Can you describe this a bit more thoroughly? I have

encountered such overflow problems, but can you give me an
example?
