Resource Plan and Leveling

In our project, resource plans have been created for some of the resources.
The plan was then leveled manually for these resources. After leveling, does
Project still adjust dates based on the resource plan? For example, we moved
out Task A which moved out the dates for Task B, even though there was slack
available. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you are looking at all the tasks? Maybe there is a filter
applied.

Could one of the tasks be a hammock task?

I discovered that when a task is moved, Project will decrease slack but not
leveling delay. All I have to do is keep an eye on leveling delay and
decrease it where possible to maintain my original dates.
