Resource Plans

I have defined proposed projects with monthly resource plans. Now that the
project is aproved I want to detail out a schedule and leverage the resource
plan values as units for the resources. Is it possible to synchronize the
resource plan or do you have to build team from enterprise and re-enter the
units?

Unforetunately no. The resource plan hours are independent of the schedule
that you want to create. This seems very silly to me but thats the way it
is.

Yeah, not ideal. However, you can export the plan to excel and share with
other users...I could see an RM doing a high level resource plan (by quarters
for example) and then sharing with a PM. Once the schedule is defined, the
RM can go in to the resource plan and have the resources availability
decremented by the project schedule.
