Resource Pool connection changes start and finish dates

Hi, When I first connect a sharer file to a resource pool I notice
immediately that the start and end dates changes on some of the tasks - why
is this becuase at this point I haven't changed any tasks or assignments?
Could it be something to do with Calendars per se or might it be the Local
resources in the plan clash with the RP?

Hi Steve,

I'd check the resource's calendars. The scheduling of tasks is
initially set by a number of things -- one of which is the project
calendar. If you have resources assigned to tasks -- a change in
the resource's calendar will impact tasks.

You appear to be using Project Server -- if my response doesn't
help -- I suggest re-posting to the server newsgroup.
