Resource Pool (Renaming)

I would like to rename a resource in the resource pool. I know that I can
change the name in the users section of admin; however, I have to change it
in the Resouce Pool itself, as the system syncronizes with Solomon. If the
names do not match, then actuals are not sent to Project Server to update the
project. The account user name can be changed automatically or one can
change it in the MSP-Resource table and the MSP-Web-Resorce table in SQL. Is
there a place in Project Server to change it or if not, what is the name of
the table in SQL that contains the Resource Pool Resource Name?

Hi eleanore,

try this:

change the name in PWA under admin
open up the global resource in Project Professional > Change the name there to
Save it, the user should have a new Name now
