This may not be much help, and I'm using Project Std 2000,
but what you are saying is correct. If the res pool file
is open you should be given the option of selecting and
linking to it in Share Resources.
I'd suggest :
- search for A.mpp.
- close all files and create a test environment to be sure
you can get a shared resource pool to work as required
