Resource problem with project server 03

Hi

I currently using ms-project 2003 professionnal. We installed project server
2003 to be able to manage our ressources more effiiciently.

I have a Project where all the ressources are defined without any task. It
has been insert into Ms-Project has a administrative project to manage
non-working time.

I'm working on a project whish has been check-in into project server and
when I want to assign a resource from entreprise resource from the Build
Team box, it contain no resource.

I expected to get all the resources already defined in the Non Working time
project as my resource dictionnary.

In Project Server side, we created few resources but none appear when I go
to Resource Center. Is it normal?

How can I created this entreprise pool to be able to use the resources?

Any idea?

Thanks

You have started entirely wrong with resource management in Project Server.
You need to create all of your resources initially in the Enterprise
Resource Pool. To do so, you must launch Microsoft Project Professional and
log into Project Server with administrator permissions. Then click Tools -
Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Resource Pool. Click the Open/Add
button to open an empty Enterprise Resource Pool. Enter all of your
resources there and save the Enterprise Resource Pool.

To add resources to a project team, create a new project and then click
Tools - Build Team from Enterprise. It sounds like you have typed the
resources in the Resource Sheet view of the project, which is not the
correct method for adding team members. And of course, you must also save
the project in the Project Server database and not as an .mpp file. Hope
this helps.
