Has anybody come across this issue and do you have a solution?
We are running Exchange 2000 SP3 and Outlook 2002 SP3. Our conferencing
rooms are set up as resources so that people can book them if they have a
meeting.
Everything is working as expected when a new meeting request is created and
one of these resources is added to the resources section of the Select
Attendees and Resources window. The meeting request is sent to the attendees
and the resources are booked successfully.
The problem presents itself when the meeting is edited and a new user is
added to the attendees list by typing in the "To" field directly on the
Appointment tab, i.e. without clicking the button "To..." to open the Select
Attendees and Resources window. As soon as the new user is added, the
resource that was originally booked is moved from the "Resource" section to
the "Required" section. Effectively, the resource is no longer booked.
Any comments?
thanks
