Resource scheduling control

I'm new to Outlook. Been a long time Notes user so I'm
looking for some things. In Notes you could set up a
resource.. a room, a projector stuff like that. These
resorces could be self controled (if I'm free I accept
the appointment if not I reject) or could have an owner.
The owner would get the invites and would accept or
reject for the resource. So how can I do this with
Outlook? I'm told that I need an external program that
Outlook does not support scheduling of resources by
itself. Can anybody point me to a solution?

You need a mail account that supports calendaring. If Exchange is the mail
server, resource scheduling is indeed built in; see
