Resource Scheduling

When scheduling resources [eg, projectors] as
appointments it does not seem to have a problem with
conflicting bookings. Which is a problem. Does anyone
know how to overcome this. Under Tools, Options, Calendar
Options, Resource Scheduling, I have selected the 3
options which should automatically decline conflicting
bookings but this doesn't work either... any suggestions?

Are people being diligent about inviting the projectors as resource?
