Resource Selection

Is there a way to constrain resource selection so that resource managers can
only assign resources from the global pool that report to them?

Hi ScottC55,

you should be able to achieve this with the RBS ( Resource Breakdown
Structure).

HI scott,

The RBS defines the way resources report to each other. So this would be the
first step which will ensure that only those resources are seen which report
to the resouce manager.
The second step should be the the security settings. You need to give the RM
"See Enterprise Resource Data" permission in My resources category (I guess
it comes by default).

Play around with the security settings for a while to know figure out the
exact security settings that you would like to have.
