Resource / Skill Matching

I have set up an enterprise resource custom field (called resSkills) that
allows multiple values from lookup table and is flagged to "use this field
for matching generic resources". I have also set up an enterprise generic
resource along with some non-generic enterprise resources. When I use the
team build function from the Project Center, I find that the "< Match" button
only works when the generic resource selected in the right hand box has only
one value attributed to the resSkills custom field. As soon as you
multi-select values for resSkills for the generic resource, and then try to
"< Match" it no longer functions correctly (no resources are filtered on the
left hand side)?
This appears to be another bug in Project Server - unless I have missed
something?

Yes, I ran into this exact problem at a client site this past week. I
discovered that with an MV field, if you select one or two values maximum,
the matching works. If you select three or more values in the MV field,
then matching fails. I suspect it is a bug. Or it might be designed this
way just to frustrate us! :) Hope this helps.

Dale,

Did you log it as a bug ?

No. I am on vacation in Greece right now, and quite frankly, I have not had
the time to post this as a bug. Feel free to help me out and post it as a
bug. Thanks in advance for your help! :)
