Resource Timesheets

My Project Support Office is trying to police the submission by resources of
weekly timesheets through PWA. Is there a simple method of monitoring who
has and has not submitted a timesheet? I'd have thought this was quite
simple but can't seem to find the functionality in the system. Can anyone
help?

Regards
Martin

Navigate to the Resources page in PWA and click the View resource
assignments link in the sidepane on the left. Select the resources whose
assignments you wish to see and click the Apply button. You will find
several relevant columns in this view that will help you to determine who
submitted timesheets during the last reporting period. Hope this helps.

Learn about Managed Time Periods. There can be a lot of process involved in
successfully using Managed Time Periods, so you should weight the benefits
and costs, but you can get what you want.

Thanks both for your help,

Reid, I will look into managed time periods, thanks. Dale, I tried the
process you suggested but I get no results returned in that view. I see the
toolbar appear, with save link, link risks, link issues ... etc. But nothing
below. Not even a message that no results have been returned. I know the
resources have tasks and are reporting on them. Can you offer any advice?

Martin,

You can create an assignment view in the PWA and add fields that will give
you more information.

Fields you need to combine (it's not perfect but it helps)
- PM accept ? (has the PM already used the option "update")
- Submitted on : (the last dae/hour a user submitted his time)
- Status :
+ No change since last update
+ Changes not yet submitted => these are awaiting (PM still does not see
this)
+ Changes submitted => these are awaiting for approval

regards,
