Resource Total Hours Per Quarter

Is there anyway to run a report to see total hours Available for each
resource per Quarter. But at the same time calculate non-working days
(vacation, etc.) So if there is 500 hours in a quarter (thats an
estimate) but john doe takes 40 hours vacation in that quarter or only
is available for half of the quarter it will consider that calculation
and give me 400 hours or something instead?? Any help would be GREATLY
appricated!!

Hi Dave,
You may create a custom cross-tab report to show you want
you want.
Make sure that your resource's calendar(s) have the
nonworking time recorded.
Then View --> Reports.
Double click Custom category.
Click on New...CrossTab then OK.
Name your report
Row: Resources
Column: Quarters
In crosstab area select "Remaining Availability"
You may apply a filter if you would like.
On details tab turn on row and column totals if you would
like.
Choose OK.
The report should now be available under the custom
category.
The time marked as nonworking in the resource's calendar
is deducted automatically and the report shows how many
hours per quarter the resource is available.

Thanks yes that helps a lot!!! One more question, can you define your
own quarters? not the tradtional Jan-Mar...our qtrs are messed up.
