Resource unit changes

I Defined a task, type of Fixed Units, and duration of 10 days.
I assigned a resource with 20% units. (work is 16 hours).
On a specific day I report via the 'resource usage' report 2 hours of actual
work where the planned in 1.6 hours. The units to the task changes to 25%.
Why is that?
Now I changed the allocation back to 20%, and increased the remaining work
from 14 hours to 20 hours. The units changed back again to 25%. Why are the
unit changes where the task is fixed units? is this a bug? Is there a
wordaround?

The Unit you are seeing is Peak unit. In other words instead of 1.6h a day
(20%) you set 2h which is 25%. As you may have seen the hours per day for
remaining days didn't change (except for .4 coming off the last day(s).

Hey, Gill.
I was thinking about it. Additional Duration will increase the Work by the
basis of 20% unit, not 25%. How is it possible to see this original value
(20%) so planning will be improved?

The unit for that day is 25%. You need to look at resource assignments for
the future, which is typically done by looking at hours per week rather than
units.
