Resource Usage - how to filter by current project

Steve Scott

Can anyone advise me on how to filter out just the resource assignments in my
current plan over all of the assignments that are visible via the Resource
Usage View becuase I am connected to a Resource Pool? Or should I change my
process to include disconnecting from the Resource Pool once I have made
assignments into my plan?

Hi Steve,

If you close the Resource pool file, you should only see assignments
from the current project. No need to disconnect from the pool.

You could also create a custom group to group on the Project field
added to the Resource Usage view. Make sure you group by Name
(Resource field) and then turn on the option to group assignments
and group by the Project field.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Steve,

In the group definition dialog, there's a checkbox for "Group
assignments, not resources". Once you select that option you have
in the Field Type list either Resource or Assignment.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
