Resource Usage in Calendar View

Is it possible to have a calendar view such as the one I illustrat
below so that the PM can view which resources are doing what tasks in
calendar view?

If I am interpreting your "ASCII art" correctly, does the Resource Usage
view (Menu: View/Resource Useage) work for this. It does not put a
graphical view by time, but puts work by default on in columns. You can
scale the columns to show as much precision as you like. You can also
show other field valules (right mouse click in the time period area).

You can also use the Calendar view to show individual calendar views for
each resource (using filtering).
