Resource usage numbers don't add up

Win XP, Proj 2002:

I have a 5 day task with a resource assigned 100%, and
this is the only task to which this resource is
assigned. When I look at the resource sheet, I see
the 'work' number next to the resource name is 66.67hr
(incorrect), but the 'work' number next to the task name
is 40hr (correct). I have two other resources assigned
to this same task at 100%, and the 'work' numbers
associated with them are correct!

What am I missing here?
