Resource Usage View Data Incorrect on Unopenend Projects

When using PS SP2, the Timephased data in the projects that are not open on
my desktop show incorrect data in the Resource Usage View. Is there a way to
have Project update/refresh this so that it displays accurate information on
the Resource Usage View on the desktop?

Example, I view a user in the Resource Usage who has a line for a unopened
project that shows 10 hours remaining on a project with time in the current
week in the timephased grid. I open the Project and the remaining hours
assigned to the user is actually zero and the timephased work is zero on all
tasks for that particular project and week.

Thanks!

This appears to be a limitation of the system. I believe you simply need to
open each project if you want to see the correct numbers. Sorry.

Does MS already have an idea by when this 'limitation' (I'd call it a 'bug')
would be resolved? Opening every single project is (in our situation)
extremely time-consuming and furthermore this leads to unnessesarily locked
projectplans.

Thanks for your answers.
