resource usage view information

Currently, the Resource Usage View displays assignment information for both
tasks within the current schedule and any other tasks that the resource is
assigned to in another schedule. For the tasks outside of the schedule,
project displays the project name.published in the name field ( it displays
the actual task name for tasks that are within the current project). Is
there a way to actually show the task name for the external published project
also?

If you open those other projects in addition to the current project, you
will see the task names in each of the other projects. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale for the quick response. On a side note, I just purchased you and
Gary's set of MSP Pro books from you guys site (they should be here by week
end). Does either of the books address anything about EditSite?

No. The documentation that ships with the EditSite tool is pretty clear.
We intend to include our own information on the EditSite tool in the second
edition of our administrator's book. Publish date for that book is unknown
at this point, however. Thanks for asking!
