Resource Usage View not working correctly

You simply need to reverse one of the steps in the FAQ. When you launch
Microsoft Project Professional and are presented with the Project Server
Accounts dialog, you must select the "Load summary resource assignments"
option and then click the Connect button. If you are not seeing this dialog
when you launch Microsoft Project Professional, then make sure you have
completed ALL of the steps in the following FAQ:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreatePMLoginAccount.htm

Hope this helps.

Dale,

By doing this, it brings in every old inactive and temp project plan that
has ever been created. It takes up to 20 minutes to bring up a project plan
because its bring in all the old resource tasks from these old plans. We only
want active projects. In our file, open menu only actives plans are showing,
but these old inactive plans must be still sitting a table even after we
deleted them through the tool.

Thanks

If you are seeing old and temporary projects, your Project Server
administrator must delete the projects from the Project Server database.
Even though you say that he/she has deleted them, if they are still present,
then I suspect that they haven't been deleted after all. Hope this helps.
