We are matrixed org & use MSPS2003, As a resource manager, I have my team
members working on different projects. How can I get a resource view (time
phased) of all my resources, so that they are slated to work for the next 3
months.I want to make sure they are not over allocated or under allocated.
Thanks,

Do the following:

1. Navigate to the Resource Center.
2. Using the Control key, click the row headers of the resources who
assignments and availability you want to see.
3. Click the View Availability button on the toolbar.
4. Click the View Options tab, set your date range, and set your time units
(probably Weeks rather than Days).
5. In the View Options tab, click the Set Dates button.
5. In the upper right corner of the page, leave the name of one resource
selected, but deselect everyone else.
6. In the Details grid at the bottom, expand the assignments for the
selected resource (click the + symbol for the resource).
7. In the chart, study the resource's current amount of work and
availability.
8. In the Details grid, study the resource's task assignments in projects.
9. On the toolbar, click the date range buttons (left arrow and right
arrow) to scroll back and forward in time.
10. When finished, deselect the current resource and select a new one.

Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thanks, Super, it works, I wish could save the resources which I select in
a list/view! and reuse it every week.

You are correct. Although you can save the list of resources using the Save
Link button on the View Resource Assignments page, sadly, there is no such
button on the View Availability page. Hope this helps.
