Resource Usage View using a pooled resource

John L.

Hello

I have multiple projects that I have created a pooled resource and one
master project. I have linked all of the projects together, but when I
delete a particular project, the Gantt Chart reflects it correctly, but the
Resource Usage view still shows the resources and tasks from the project I
just deleted. I also changed the 'shared resources' to 'use own resources'
for the project I removed from the master project.
Please let me know how to 'refresh' with the current linked projects only in
the Resource Usage view.

thank you
john

To delete a project, open it, the consolidated project and the resource
pool. Set use own resources in the project and delete the project from the
master project.

Close and save the project, master project and pool.

Now delete or rename the project then open and check the master project and
pool.

Hi Rod

that is what i tried to do in the first place. for some reason it deletes
it from the master project for all views, except for the resource usage view.
i guess i will just create another master project.

thank you
john

ah... i think this worked... i went into the pooled resource file and 'broke
the link' to the old projects. that seemed to have done the trick.

thank you
