"Resource usage" view vs multi project assignment on Project Serve

Good day,

Using MS Project 2003, SP2-a. Using the "Resource usage" view, a project
manager can see all the project plans to which a resources is assigned other
than his project plan, that is great.

Do you know what is the "event" that triggers the refresh of this
information? For instance, if project plan "B" is deleted, will it continue
to appear in project plan "A" if the resource is assigned to both? Do I need
to republish a plan to remove plan "B" from the resource usage view in "A"?
Please advise, thank you!!

If you delete project b, then the next time you start Project, the B time
will not be in the Resource Usage view. That data is not part of Project A;
it is loaded when you start Project Pro as long as the Load Summary Resource
Assignments box is checked (which it is by default).
