Resource Usage view vs Work effort display format (hrs & d)

Good day,

Using MSP2003 Pro, SP2-A. In the view "resource usage"
->for the resource, i.e. the "summary task", the work, actual & rem are
displayed in "hours" (hrs)
->for the tasks in the same view associated to the resources, i.e. the
"detailed tasks", the work, actual
& rem are displayed in "days" (d).

I would like both to be displayed in days; I have looked about a hundred
times at the Tools, Option panel, both options are set to "entered and
displayed in days", the same result as above persists.

Please advise if you know how to change the display config for this, thanks!

If you go to the tools, options, schedule tab and change the "work is entered
in" field to "days".
That should change the view.

Good day Scott,

Thanks for the reply, however, it does not; that is what I have checked a
100 times before. The option is checked to "in days" yet, the summary info
for the resource is displayed in hours while the detailed info is in days...

We are using the server connected mode along with "update project summary
info" checked on.

Thank you,

In this case open the Enterprise Global template and perform the same action.
Hope that helps,

Good day again Scott,

Thank you, but "nope"! I checked the EGT and the setting is in "days".

2 interesting facts:
1) when I view the same plan in a "non-connected" mode (working offline in
an .MPP), both the detailed and summar tasks are displayed in days. When I
view the same plan in a connected mode with the same settings, I get the
different results for the summary & detailed tasks.

2) the same situation happens in MSP2002 Pro (I still have an old
environmnet to play with).

I am thinking of opening a defect with the Premiere Support line for
investigation.

Please advise if you think of anything else, thank you much!!

Frederick,

Just another thought: Are you running any macros in either the Projects
template or the EGT. I am fairly certain it is either the enterprise template
or the global template that is causing this behavior.

Again, I hope this helps,

Good day Scott, nope, not running any macros, neither in the plans nor the
EGT. Thank you,

Frederick
