Resource Usage View

Folks,
I'm new to MSP Server but not MSP.
I've just had MSP Server Installed on the network and I'm having a play with
it before deployment.

One thing though, I can't find where I can get a 'resource usage' view to
display in the Server edition windows.

The set of views given and that you can add via the admin function seems a
lot less than in the non-server version.

I'm hoping that there is some way that I can add these views - just let me
know !!!!

Thanks

I wrote this that sort of does this but it does not display task names,
only Project names.

Hi Dave,

Project Server deals with Global resource. You can view availablity -
resource usage in the "resource" tab in your Project Web Access. When you
click on the Resouce tab and if you have global resources set up you will
find a list of them on this page. Choose your resource and click the "view
Availability" button. This should be the view you are after I assume.
Hope this helps

The closest you can get to a Resource Usage view in Project Web Access is to
do the following:

1. Log into PWA
2. Navigate to the Resource Center
3. Click the View resource assignments link in the sidepane on the left
4. Select the resources whose assignments you wish to see and click the
Apply button
5. Select the Timesheet view link in the sidepane

Hope this helps.
