I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't
find it.
I am using Project Server and Project Professional 2003. The issue that I am
experiencing is “Remaining Work†shows up as incomplete in the Resource Usage
View on completed projects when viewed from a different project in the
Resource Usage view. For example if I create project ABC, then remaining
work is displayed in the Resource Usage View when viewed from project XYZ. I
assume this is to show a resources allocation across all projects – one of
the benefits of using Project Server. However, once all tasks in project ABC
are completed (i.e. project ABC shows no “Remaining Workâ€), the Resource
Usage View, in project XYZ, continues to display all of the project ABC hours
as remaining work.
How can I correct this? Does this effcct Resource Leveling, since in at
least one view, there is "Remaining Work."
