I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, but I
couldn't find it.
I am using Project Server 2003 and Project Professional 2003. The issue that
I am experiencing is "Remaining Work" shows up as incomplete in the Resource
Usage View on completed projects when viewed from a different project in the
Resource Usage view. For example, if I create project ABC, then remaining
work is displayed in the Resource Usage View when viewed from project XYZ. I
assume this is to show a resources allocation across all projects - one of
the benefits of using Project Server. However, once all tasks in project ABC
are completed (i.e. project ABC shows no "Remaining Work"), the Resource
Usage View, in project XYZ, continues to display all of the project ABC hours
as remaining work.
How can I correct this?
Does this effect Resource Leveling, since in at least one view, there is
"Remaining Work."
