I work at a firm that is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. My resources go
around the clock and I am having trouble entering calendars for the overnight
shift.

How do I create a base calendar for the overnight shift, 9:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
without getting a scheduling error message?

Osomide,
The secret is to break the overnight shift into two chronological
pieces. For example you should show the overnight shift as:
12:00 AM to 7:00 AM
9:45 PM to 12:00 AM
Set this shift as non-default working time for all 7 days for any
resources that are on the overnight shift.

Don't forget to also set the Project Calendar for 24 hours and set the
default start and end times as 12:00 am under Tools/Options/Calendar tab.
