Resource

I have set up my resources into a separate project plan.

(1) When appointing resources to share a task, and one
of the resources has non-work time scheduled, MS Project
(resource leveling) appears to split the task to be
continued only when that resource has returned to their
work time.

Is there any way for project consider leveling the task
with the balance of resources asigned to the task, instead
of me manually inserting those times?

(2) The resource sheet is extrememly helpful. However
is there any way to view from the calander or any other
view, resource non work times for all resources?

This would allow for a snap shot of who (or how many)
resournces may not be working for a particular
day/week/month.

thanks and sorry if these are obvious questions.. I
haven't been using project that long.

Hello,

<<leveling the task with the balance of resources asigned to the task>>
Sorry, Ms Project doesn't do that.

<<non work times for all resources>>
Have you tried the Resource Graphe with Remaining Availibility (Format /
Details) and Format / Bar styles : Filtered Resource / Show as :
something...
