Whenever
I add a resource to a task, project arbitrarily
changes the duration of the task and I can not correct
it. I think it does some kind of hours per man
calculation or something.. Does anyone know how to
disable it or how to enter resources without changing
any other value??

If the task is Effort Driven, then Microsoft Project proportionally splits
the Remaining Work on the task between the existing resources and the
newly-assigned resource. To disable this behavior on any task, double-click
the task, select the Advanced tab, and deselect the Effort Driven option.
Hope this helps.

Sorry John, if the task is Effort driven even a fixed duration task will see
its duration change when a resource is added or withdrawn
