I'm implementing Project Server along with WSS and seeing some strange
behavior during testing. (Project Server and WSS reside on separate boxes)
I create a project and include a windows authenticated resource using "Build
team from enterprise". I then assign the resource to a task and publish
successfully. When I go to PWA, I'm able to open the site that was
auto-created for the project. However, the resource from above is not listed
as a user. If I click "Synchronize" on the "Manager Sharepoint sites" Admin
page while the project is highlighted, it gives me the "Success" message, but
the resource still isn't a user for the site. There are no errors in the
event log from either of these two processes (publish and synch).
I am able to add the resource manually to the site using the admin tools in
the wss site. The resource is then able to access the site, create issues,
etc... However, if I run the synch feature again, the resource is removed.
Does anyone have experience with this situation? Thanks.
