Resources Disappear!

Hi all,

Users are complaining that when they replace an generic resources using the
Build Team from Enterprise tool that the resource that is added is removed
upon saving of the project.

In the event log I get this error:

A lookup of the 0x8c040012 comes up with this (From Proj2002, but should
still apply):

(PJWEB_E_RESOURCE_DUPLICATE)

• You receive this error message if a resource account already exists in
the Microsoft Project Server database. Duplicate resource accounts are not
permitted.

Anybody seen this? Why is Project / Project Server try to replace an
existing user with the one from the resource pool?
