Resources for all Projects

I would like to know how /if this is possible.
Backgroud:
MS-Project Server 2007 on Windows 2005 server, XP clients
using Project Web Access with Admin access

I've been able to sync the users from Active Dir. to MSProject. Added them
to groups and leveraged the security roles & permissions templates. Works
like a charm.

I want to now populate automaticly the Resource Center with the same users
who appear in the Manage Users section of Server Settings ->Security. ie if
user can login to webaccess then user is possible resource to any project.

Currently one has to manually enter 1 resource at a time. and there may be
data err /omission. ie new user gets added to active direcoty it will sync to
MS-Project however they don't become a resource.

How do I get around from re-creating the same details to populate Resouce
Center.

I'm puzzled how you are adding resources using AD synchronization. To do
this properly, you have to set up Project Server 2007 in two locations. You
must do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
2. Click Server Settings - Active Directory Resource Pool Synchronization.
3. Select the AD group that contains resources for your Enterprise Resource
Pool.
4. Specify your AD synch options in the Scheduling Options section.
5. Click the Save button.

Have you done the above steps? If so, the AD synch process will
automatically populate your Enterprise Resource Pool and add the resources
to the Resource Center view in PWA. In addition, you should also use AD
synch to automatically add resources to the proper security Groups in PWA.
Set this up using the following steps:

1. Click Server Settings - Manage Groups.
2. Click the Active Directory Synch Options button.
3. Set up your schedule for synching AD resources with Project Server 2007
security groups.
4. Click the Save button.
5. Click the Project Managers group to edit the Group settings.
6. Click the Find Group button and select the AD group that maps to the
Project Managers group in PWA.
7. Click the Save button.

In steps #5-7 above, you will need to repeat the same process for every
Project Server security Group you are using. At the least, this will
probably include the Project Managers group, the Team Members group, the
Administrators group, and perhaps the Executives group. Hope this helps.
