Resources not able to update Actual Hours for tasks on PWA

I have several resources assigned to tasks in my project plan that is
published on the project server. the resources are set up with the same
permissions, however, some of the resources are not able to update the tasks
because the actual hours and remaining hours are read only on their tasks
sheet. I have confirmed that the tasks are not complete and have remaining
hours left on them... I'm stuck, please help.

Hi,
Check that the project in which these tasks are, follows the default
tracking method which has been set in Project Web Access (Customize Project
Web Access):
In Project Professional :
Tools / Customize / Published Fields
Hours of work done per time period

If for the active project, the tracking method is different, go to the
ProjectExperts site to change this tracking method

Thanks, but all the tasks are in the same project and I have confirmed that
the tracking methods are set up correctly.
