Resources not populating in Project Server 2003

I'm new to Project Server 2003. I have created several users who will be used
as resources (to be assigned tasks). None of them are showing up in
resources. I have looked at the Database and the resources, and they are in
the resource table (one of them) but not in the other resource tables. I
would like some help to get this up and running. Not sure why it is not. I
have all permissions (using Admin to create and view resources initially).
Thank you in advance for your help.

I believe you revealed the "error of your ways" when you said you created
"several users who will be used as resources." You got the process
backwards when you created user accounts. Instead, you have to create
enterprise resources, which then automatically creates user accounts as
well.

To create resources, you need to open the Enterprise Resource Pool for
editing, create the resources, and then save the Enterprise Resource Pool.
When you click the Save button, the system creates a Project Server user
account for each new resource. To resolve your problem, you will need to
convert the user accounts to enterprise resources by referring to the steps
in the following FAQ:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/ProjectServerFAQKnowledgeBase/ConvertUsertoResource.aspx

Hope this helps.
