We have a strange problem in the Portfolio Analyzer. When we drag Resources
on the left row and 'Work and Availability' on the data area, some of the
resource names do not show up on the list but their availability value gets
added to the Grand Total.
When I chose 'Commands and Options', selected the 'Report tab' and checked
the option 'Always display empty rows', then these resource names are
displayed, but their availability is still showing blank but the value is
added to the grand total. When I further investigated, I noticed that the
"problem" resources are not assigned to any projects. But I would still think
that these resource names should be displayed with zero (or blank) for work
and actual value for availability. The resources are active.
Example
Resource Work Availability
----------- ------ -------------
Resource 1 100 150
Resource 2 blank blank (actual availability value 125; not assigned
to any project; is displayed only after enabling 'display empty row' option)
Grand Total 100 275
Is this a known bug or am I missing something here?
Thanks,
