Resources Not Showing Up in "My Direct Reports"

Alison

I've set up the RBS (i think correctly) and i can't get any of the resources
to show up under the my direct reports view. I am the PM with an rbs code of
1.1.1 and should be able to see, for example a developer with an RBS of
1.1.1.4. Anyone have this issue?

Gary -

Yes I am in the resource managers group, I fear I might have set up the RBS
wrong (though after all my reading I can't see how). Great book by the way,
have it at my desk as constant reference.

Here's how i set up the rbs
1 = company
2 = cto
[2 indents] 2 = vp
3 = project management
[2 indents] 4 = development

and so on.

i had the 1.1.1.1. before but that didn't seem to work so after looking at
some worksheets i changed it.

any ideas can be returned with cookies?

Hmm, I'd like to see how you defined category permissions.

You need to be in the Resource Managers group for this to work. Are you?

I wish there was a way I could print all this up for you :)

For the Category Direct Reports I've mapped it to Portfolio Managers,
Project Mangers, Resource Mangers, and Team Leads.

For projects it's "all current an future"
with "A resource on the project's Project Team is a descendant of the user
via RBS"
for resources it's "all current and future" with "they are descendants of
the user via RBS" selected.

I'm really baffled to be honest. I've followed all instructions and yet
still.... hmmm
