Resources not users

Project Server 2003: When I publish a project to the project server, the
global resources automatically create user accounts. I went into Admin-server
configurations and checked deny for all the account creation features but
then I get an error in the spooler that says: "The manager cannot create the
resource account (Ox8C040017)" Then I go back and uncheck the deny boxes, try
again and it publishes, however creating user accounts. How can I have
resources that are not users?

You are attempting to use local resources incorrectly. Reset the pertinent
permissions back to Deny and then refer to the following FAQ on how to use
local resources correctly:
