We've recently noticed that no one but the meeting organizer can view the
Resources invited to a meeting. In this example, John invites both Mary and
Conference Room A to a meeting. John can see Mary and the CR in the meeting
entry on his calendar. If you look at the meeting entry on CR A's calendar,
you can see John as the organizer, Mary as a required attendee, and the CR
as a resource. However, if you look at the meeting entry on Mary's calendar,
you see John as the organizer and Mary as the required attendee. The
conference room is not listed.
If John forgets to fill out the location field, Mary has no idea where the
meeting should be held. This is causing a problem for some of our users.
This behavior seems relatively new to us, and we could *swear* it didn't use
to do this. Can anyone confirm or deny that their software is working in the
same fashion?
We're using Exch 5.5 on a Windows 2000 Server. The clients are running
Outlook 2000 SP3 on Win2KPro (SP4). The Resources are set up to
automatically accept and to not allow double-bookings.
Thanks,
Jeni
All feedback would be appreciated!
