Resources vs Users in 2007

I am administrator and i am seeing resources in MSP 2007, in Build Team, and
I can assign them to projects and tasks, but I do not see them in the
Resource Center. Can anyone tell me why?

Two things come into my mind:

1) Check if in resource center are you seeing the right view. Try All
Resources View

2) See if the Administrator's Global permissions has View Resource Center
permission checked.

Make sure that you are added to any other group where the view resource
center permission is DENY

As always Deny Prevents Allow. Yes Even if you are Admin

This was originally my question and I use Jason to ask it. Anyway, I am the
Administrator and I am viewing "All resources" and I have full permissions.
There are also no Deny's in the user permissions.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that When I loaded the
bulk of the resources I did it through MSP 2007. This particular resource
(that I can't see in the resource pool) I loaded through PWA by selecting New
resource from the Resource Center. After that he showed up in MSP but he
still doesn't show upon PWA.

hum... so it's not all the resources but only one of the resource you cannot
view in resource center.

Are you sure that the resource is added properly is there any Icon right
next to the resource name on the Project Team side

Tools > Build team from Enterprise > Right panel where you have your local
project team. This resource you cannot see in PWA > Resource Center any Icon
beside his name ?

No Icon beside his name. Also I have seen this before. In our test envronment
only there are multiple resources with that condition. I guess it is possible
that I entered him wrong in PWA but I'm not sure how to get to him nwe to
check it if I can't see him to select him from the resource pool.

Try Tools > Enterprise Options > Enterprise Resource Pool

to see if these non-visible resource and visible resource has any field
different.

Figured it out. His name was entered ito the system in the wrong formatso he
didn't show upalphabetically in the right spot. (Rookie Mistake) Hope I
didn't waste too much of your time.
